Asus EeePC Seashell 2: 1008P Karim Rashid Edition.
Big surprise that the presentation by the EeePC HardwareZone Seashell 2 1008P designed by Karim Rashid. The machine is promising, even finer than the first EeePC 1008HA especially now without the element that was most wince lovers of the object, a removable battery.
While no information is supposed to run on future netbook PineTrail brand, the site publishes HardwareZone EeePC 1008P picture of the future model design and high-end Asus is expected to present at CES in Las Vegas in January next.
Why CES? Simply because the machine loads an ATOM N450 Pineview instead of our good old ATOM usual. These processors are supposed to be “announced” officially to the public during the event and listed in the aftermath. The machine announces to the rest of characteristics very similar to existing machines, but this is a test model: with 1GB of RAM and 160GB of storage 5400 the craft appears behind the latest Windows 7 EeePC sold. Bluetooth is present and a WiFi type b / g / n.
And the least we can say is that it resembles a flight organized information. The site does not specify from where comes this machine but the model pictured is a real selling point by itself.
With efficient design, different and very striking, ASUS is about to fly and hit spirits. A textured, colorful, pink and slightly shiny. That’s what Asus offers as its first vision of the future.
Texture to the limit of organic gives a reptilian to the hull and put value in the fineness of the machine. I’m willing to bet that more sober versions are available and that Asus has understood the lesson in marketing its machines with HP Vivienne Tam signed occasions in many illustrations of press when it comes to netbooks.
Asus also keeps a keyboard Chiclets but changed its format. No more of the 1008HA slim keyboard present, the brand offers a new model with the arrow keys more effective and mild depression of the support tray of buttons to allow the exposure of these to the chassis.
