FLO TV for iPhone proof-of-concept caught in the wild
FLO TV, Qualcomm’s own TV broadcast service for phones, doesn’t offer an iPhone app. Yet. We’ve just spied one catching FLO TV signals and chucking them up on screen in the wild. But is there any point when there are so many ways to catch live TV on the iPhone already?
Qualcomm let slip it would enable FLO TV iPhone support when iPhone OS 3.0 was unveiled earlier in the year, as it allows support for third party hardware. Now we’ve finally seen it in action, courtesy of a FLO TV receiver that picks up the signal and streams via Wi-Fi to the iPhone.
